I’ve seen people doing this on 35mm, and I thought about trying it, but I wouldn’t know how to scan it with the holes, my scanner (V600) won’t let me do this unless placing the film on top of the glass as is…

But you could also go with a anti newton ring glass, but I like to avoid because they are slightly matted, so there is a small diffusion of the light and a equivalent loss of resolution.
